Full School Year Representation and Advocacy

I also offer, for a fixed fee, comprehensive representation for the entire school year. I will be your dedicated advocate, available for all IEP meetings, ongoing consultations, thorough record review, and I will act as your advocate and attorney throughout the entirety of the school year including the annual IEP meeting, any amendments, adjustments to accommodations or services, Prior Written Notices, Behavioral Intervention Plans, and conduct matters. This package ensures your child receives the best possible educational support without the stress of navigating the system alone. Intermittent legal services often leave families to navigate their child's IEP alone so I created this level of support to see families through the entire school year.  This is best suited for parents who have persistent issues with schools and districts throughout the school year and allows for my continued advocacy and gives you peace of mind along with continued advocacy.  My clients benefit from continuous, proactive support and expert legal guidance whenever needed.  Representation will terminate at the end of the school year.

Advocacy and Representation for Students With Disabilities

At Jessica Holland Law, we are dedicated to ensuring that students with disabilities receive the education, support, and legal protections they are entitled to under the law. We provide knowledgeable, compassionate representation and advocacy for students with IEPs and 504 Plans, working closely with families to navigate the special education system with confidence.

IEP & 504 Plan Advocacy

Whether your child is just beginning the special education process or already has a plan in place, we assist with every stage—developing, reviewing, and revising Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans to ensure they are comprehensive, appropriate, and tailored to your child’s needs. We help ensure schools are meeting their legal obligations and providing the necessary accommodations and services.

IEP Meetings & School Collaboration

We represent families during IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams to advocate for goals, services, and supports that reflect your child’s unique challenges and strengths. Our goal is to empower parents while holding schools accountable to provide a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) as required by law.

Manifestation Determination Reviews

When a student with a disability is facing disciplinary action, we provide critical representation during Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs) to ensure that any behavior leading to discipline is properly evaluated in the context of the student’s disability. We work to protect students from inappropriate removals or disciplinary measures that may violate their rights.

Protecting Your Child’s Rights & Education

We believe that every child—regardless of ability—deserves equal access to education in a supportive and inclusive environment. With deep knowledge of special education law and a passion for advocacy, we stand by families to help secure the services and protections their children need to thrive.

Student Conduct and School Discipline

We can help families navigate school discipline matters by ensuring student rights are protected and schools follow legal procedures. We provide guidance during suspension, expulsion, and manifestation determination reviews, and advocate for fair outcomes based on the student’s unique needs.

K-12 Student Defense: Expulsions & Conduct Matters

At Jessica Holland Law, we are committed to protecting the rights of students and families navigating the disciplinary process in public schools. Disciplinary actions such as suspensions, expulsions, and other conduct violations can have lasting effects on a student's academic record, emotional well-being, and future opportunities.

Expulsion Defense

When a school district seeks to expel a student, the stakes are high. Your child’s education is at risk and the results of an expulsion hearing can have long lasting effects including delaying graduation, requirement for alternative school, and more. I provide strong, informed advocacy during disciplinary hearings to ensure that students are treated fairly and that all due process rights are upheld. Iwork closely with families to develop a defense strategy, challenge improper procedures, and seek alternatives to expulsion when possible.

If your school is seeking expulsion, contact my office as soon as possible to protect your child’s future.

Student Conduct Matters

Whether your child is facing in-school suspension, out-of-school suspension, removal from athletics, or other disciplinary actions for alleged misconduct, we provide guidance and representation to protect their educational access and due process rights. We help families respond effectively to allegations, prepare for school hearings, and advocate for fair treatment.

Manifestation Determination Reviews

When a student with a disability faces a suspension of more than ten days or over thirty days in a single school year, the student is owed a Manifestation Determination Review. These reviews determine whether a child’s behavior is a product of their disability and can protect a student from disciplinary procedures. We help parents and students in these hearings and in any disciplinary proceeding against a child with an IEP.
